All of MasterCraft’s Door Products are handcrafted from British Columbia Douglas fir or Alder. The wood is first dried, then machined to individual specifications. We size and manufacture our doors to precisely fit the openings in your custom log home with built in allowances for the setting which occurs naturally as your home ages.
All of our door products are built with a 1 piece 1 ¼” rabbeted frame for wall thicknesses up to 14” deep. We glue and mechanically fasten all of our door frames with stainless screws to provide maximum holding strength. Our frames are built with a 1 ¼” thick brick mould with a 5” settling crown attached as 1 piece. Our exterior doors come equipped with a high profile bronze sill for positive water drainage, as well as a full perimeter closed cell weatherstrip for maximum energy efficiency. We ship all doors prepped for standard lock sets or with the option of multi point locking hardware.
All of MasterCraft’s door slabs are built with a pressure glued butcher block construction to provide superior strength and exceptional beauty. We build a wide array of styles and sizes, which we can personalize with the use of custom etched glass options or incredible carving panels.
